I voted for iOS over Android. You have to wait an extra 6 months for a game to be released on the Android. You also have to create a Gmail address to use the Android market. On iOS, the games come out first. You don't have to make an AOL address, you can use any domain. I personally use my Hotmail address for my App Store account. Also, iOS 6, the newest version, has AMAZING maps. Go to Google Images and search iOS 6 maps to find out.

You said it. I have an Apple ID on a Hotmail account, I don't need an AOL account, but for the Android, you need a Gmail account for your Android ID. It's just annoying as hell. Google are just using this and YouTube to get many Gmail accounts, which, in my opinion, is just cheap.
